During a recent family trip to Atlanta, we had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional restaurant for lunch. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the courteous and attentive staff. The ambiance was inviting and thoughtfully designed, with a large screen showcasing scenic views of the Himalayas that instantly lifted our spirits. Our meal included a variety of dishes: momo (dumplings), noodles, chicken chili, naan, and several vegetarian options. Each dish was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and rich in authentic flavor. We particularly appreciated the ability to customize the spice level to suit individual preferences, which added a personal touch to the dining experience. To conclude our meal, we enjoyed mango lassi, which was the perfect, refreshing finish and made our lunch all the more memorable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or passing through Atlanta. It offers not only delicious cuisine but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall experience.
This place is incredibly delicious. I want to try everything on the menu and was blown away by how everything tasted. Wonderful aromatics from the rice. Mango lassi just hits the spot. The Malai Kotfa and Butter chicken was fire. So so so good.
Our food was fantastic. The chicken was fresh, tasty, and aromatic. The naan and korma are delicious. My mango drink was homemade and delightful. Our server was very kind also. More importantly, our bill for three mango drinks, an appetizer, two entrees, and dessert was only $55 What a find! Conveniently located on the corner of Chastain’s Corner and Canton Highway.
What an incredible experience and the food was absolutely mouthwatering! I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to this time because I don’t want anyone missing out on this authentic Nepali-Indian gem in Marietta. Momo, choila, chicken curry, and especially the C - momo (picture attached!) were to die for. And I’m not even a dessert person, but their gulab jamun was heavenly—it just melts in your mouth. Everything about this place was just awesome—the service, the atmosphere, the prices, and even the parking. And bonus: there’s a gas station right in the same complex! Do yourself a favor and check out this amazing restaurant—you won’t regret it.
I’m not usually a fan of Indian food, but Safron Restaurant completely changed my mind. The flavors were rich and delicious, and everything was cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed my meal and would highly recommend it to anyone, even if you’re new to Indian cuisine!
It was my first time here yesterday! I have to tell y’all that it’s the best in town!!! I had this pure Authentic Nepali & Indian taste after ages We had Veg Chilly momo, Chicken fry momo & chicken chilly. Service was amazing & very welcoming atmosphere. Price is very reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend 100/10 Trust me you won’t regret it! And it’s so nearby that I am very glad, I don’t have to drive all the way to Decatur/Sandy springs to have a good food!
I’m consistently blown away by the delicious food and the five star service from this restaurant. The owner is one of the kindest people I’ve met in a long time, and always goes above and beyond with service. I highly recommend the chicken fried rice and the biryani. You will not be disappointed. They are also very quick, so you won’t be waiting long on your lunch break. The interior is very warm and inviting, nice for a sit down lunch, business meeting or date. I will definitely be back!
We stumbled upon Saffron Indian Cuisine in Marietta on our trip to Atlanta on a Friday night. 4.9 stars for Indian food can indeed seem exaggerated but this place didn’t disappoint. It’s the traditional Nepali/Indian fare. We got: Chicken Chilli: It was quite flavorful and not too spicy. It was the perfect Indo-Chinese dish. Peanut Sadheko: Peanut mixed with Himalayan herbs—a bit oily but still a guilty pleasure, tasted great Paneer Chilli: A wonderful spicy Paneer dish Momos: Chicken and Veg momos were both awesome, the gravy was a nice accompaniment The staff were kind and polite. It wasn’t busy when we visited. The restroom was clean. It’s located in a strip mall and is quite conspicuous. I recommend visiting here if you’re looking for good Indian food.
